Sniffles: Who Cut the Cheese?

Ah! He looks so NOT amused. ^_^ It's his own fault for decideing to put his face right infront of the camera while I was trying to get a close up shot of a bug.

Any way... Sniffles 2! And yes, that is his name though we just call him Sniffles or Sniff-Sniff. Why the 2 in his name? He is the second yongest of our cats and is the spitting image of my old cat that died three years ago whose name had been Sniffles.

The original Sniffles though he was a dog and king of the house (he had been raised from kitten hood with a litter of puppies). He also lived to be 21 years old. He died of thyroid cancer.

Sniff-Sniff is not as ornery as the original though he does have some of the same mannerisms... but he takes thinking he's a dog to a new level. He is the least graceful cat I've ever seen, known for missing jumps and slidding across any smooth surfface (weather or not it is actualy slippery) and falling off the other side, and other mishaps. He will also come when called, sit when told to, and jump down from his perches when told to. He seems to have gotten obidence trained right along with the dogs. Now, unlike the dogs, he will verbaly complain about what ever it is you tell him to do while doing it. He's a real winer. He's such a big, buff, muscular cat... then he gives one of his really pathetic sounding high pitched wineing meows. It's funny. ^_^

Sniffles 2 is definutly my brother's cat, always greating him at the door like a faithful hound.... but he is friendly to everyone and enjoys playing with our youngest dog Daisy and the youngest cat Pumpkin the most.

Also watch out. he'll steal the food off your plate... while your eating it!
