First off.... the apologies.

Sorry I haven't been around much. Life likes to use me as her personal chew toy once in a while and it kinda blows any plans I had out of the water and eats my time up.

Secondly, I apologize my last journal entry offended so many people. I am not sorry I posted it however. It has been interesting to see how people reacted. I also wish to thank those that were kind enough to gently point out some of the problems with one of the links I shared without getting down right threatening.

I will NOT apologize for the second link in that journal entry however. Bullying exists. It is not just 'kids being kids'. And it doesn't just happen to children. It happens to teenagers and adults as well. Only we call it abuse and prejudice when it happens to adults. It is nasty. And it ruins lives. both those of the victim and the abuser. People need to be more aware of it and children need to be taught not only how to deal with, and raise above bullies, but also how to not become one themselves. I experienced it first hand as a child, teenager, and as a young adult. I have both extreme physical and mental scares from the ordeal. I have also been a bully, becoming one in order to make the bullying stop and keep others from hurting me by hurting them first. Bullies are not all born that way and are not 'evil'. They become that way often because they were themselves bullied in some way. It is a vicious cycle that needs to end. I I will from time to time talk about it and share support for causes that support stopping the cycle and raising awareness.

Don't like my opinion? Feel free to share yours. Be courteous and logical about it though or you will be snuggle pounce hugged for it. Angry or argumentative people need hugs. I may rant once in a while but I promise to continue treating trolls, flamers, and haters with kindness, respect and a healthy dose of sugar induced overly friendly insanity.

It tends to scare them. ^_^
